Waddah Faris's work as a gallerist allowed him to deeply engage with the art community, providing a platform for Arab artists to showcase their work. His role at Gallery One and later at his own Contact Gallery and Galerie Faris enabled him to connect with numerous artists, whom he often portrayed through his camera.

This dual role as a gallerist and photographer enriched his artistic interactions and helped him capture the essence of the vibrant cultural scene in Lebanon and beyond​.
